Hey there, fellow print-on-demand sellers!
It’s Q3, and you know what that means—the quiet period.
As a seller myself, I’ve experienced a slowdown during this time.
With no major holidays like Mother’s Day or Father’s Day, and let’s face it, not many people in the summer are in the mood for buying mugs, it’s natural for sales to dip.
But don’t fret! In this blog post, I’ll share some insights on how we can navigate this “boring” period and make the most of it.
Focus on Evergreen Niches
During Q3, it’s time to shift our attention to evergreen niches.
These are niches that have a timeless appeal and can sell consistently throughout the year.
One great example is the wedding and anniversary niche.
People are getting married and celebrating anniversaries regardless of the season.
By creating products for the bride, groom, in-laws, father-in-law, mother-in-law, bridesmaid, groomsman, wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend, and more, you can tap into this market and make sales even during the quieter months.
Let me share a personal experience.
I have a few top-selling products in the wedding and anniversary niches, and I’ve noticed consistent sales.
Customers are always looking for that special gift to celebrate these milestones, and by providing them with unique and personalized options, you can attract their attention and drive sales.
Additionally, don’t overlook the power of targeting various professions.
Birthdays are celebrated all year round, and chances are you’ve given gifts to your boss, coworkers, or employees.
By creating products specifically tailored to these professions, you open up opportunities to sell products that people need and want throughout the year.

Upload Tons of Products
Now that you know which niches to focus on, it’s time to roll up our sleeves and start uploading tons of products to Amazon.
One key piece of advice I’ve received from successful sellers is to keep the system working for you.
Whether you’re using Laser Chili or PODTurbo, load up your products consistently.
For engraved products like bracelets or keychains, you can use Laser Chili to upload 200 products per day.
For mugs, shot glasses, travel mugs, or jewelry message cards, PODTurbo can be your go-to solution.
I’ll be honest; I’m a bit lazy myself when it comes to choosing what to upload. That’s why I love using PODTomatic, a system created by our team.
It uploads various products from Laser Chili and Gearbubble to your Amazon account—50 products a day, and soon we’re planning to increase that number to 100-150.
It saves me time and ensures a steady stream of products going live.

Finding New Products for FBA
While Q3 may be a quiet period, it’s also the perfect time to prepare for the highly anticipated Q4—the season of increased sales.
Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) products tend to perform exceptionally well during this period.
So, how can you make the most of Q3? Start by analyzing your shop and identifying products with high potential. These are the products that have consistently sold well for you.
Once you’ve identified these winning products, consider ordering them in advance and shipping them to Amazon’s warehouse.
Planning ahead is crucial, especially if you’re sourcing products from China.
Chinese suppliers typically require a few weeks to manufacture your items, and shipping can take an additional 1-2 months. As a rule of thumb, aim to send your products to Amazon Warehouse by July or August.
If you’re working with Laser Chili, our US-based company, you can afford to wait a bit longer before sending out your products. Late August or September should work just fine.
However, it’s important to note that come October or later, many sellers will be sending their products to Amazon, which may result in longer processing times.
It’s always better to be prepared and avoid any unnecessary delays.

Conclusion
So there you have it, my fellow print-on-demand sellers.
Q3 may be the quiet period, but that doesn’t mean we should sit back and do nothing.
It’s the perfect time to upload tons of products, focus on evergreen niches, and prepare for the upcoming Q4 frenzy.
Consistency is key—upload products consistently to your Amazon account, find the ones that sell, and consider turning them into FBA products for optimal results.
Q4 is our time to shine, and by staying proactive and scaling our business, we’ll be ready to crush sales during the holiday season.
Let’s make the most of this Q3 period, adapt to the shifting trends, and keep pushing forward. The opportunities are out there, waiting for us to seize them.
Together, we can navigate this “quiet” period and set ourselves up for even greater success in the months to come.
