“You don’t learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing and falling over.”
Richard Brandson

Hello there!
If you’re reading this book, we probably haven’t met. If we have met, it’s nice to see you again. My name is Bank K., and yes, that’s my real name. I’m an internet marketer and the founder of the Tiny Marketing Lab (TML).
I’ve been and done many things in my life. In one way or another, all of them have helped me get to where I am today.
In this book, I’ll walk you through my journey – my successes, my failures, my processes – to show you how to run a one-person business and earn passive income.
Stick around till the end. You’ll find some life-changing tips you can use to build your own internet business as a Solopreneur.
You see, my growth as an internet marketer is littered with mistakes. Too many than I can remember!
My journey as an internet marketer began in 2008, when I was studying computer science at the university.
I accidentally discovered internet marketing after I wrote my first blog post. It was about Robocode.
If you were born in this century, you might not know much about this. Robocode was a coding game.
I was really psyched about it. I enjoyed blogging about Robocode for fun. I was just a nerd who wanted to blog about his coding stuff.
But, as my blog began to attract more and more attention, a friend of mine suggested that I place Google AdSense on my blog to make some money.
I won’t lie. At the time, I had zero idea of what AdSense was! So much for a tech geek, right?
My friend told me I could make some money from it. He did it himself, through some forums, and made money.
“***Oh, that’s a good idea,” ***I thought.
I could use the cash to buy snacks. Or anything else I needed, without having to bother anyone. It sounded too good to be true!
I went with the flow and installed AdSense. A few days after I placed an ad in my blog, I got some clicks and saw a little money appear in my account. It was good, and it was true!
I thought: “WOW! That’s amazing! I can make money while I’m sleeping!”
And Boom! That was the eureka moment for me. The day I found out that I could make money on the internet! Real money!
You can imagine the joy! Oh, the ecstasy of waking up to more cash. It wasn’t much, but it was amazing to have something bringing in steady income while I slept.
Can you relate?
Now that I reflect back to those times, I get a good laugh from all the silly mistakes I made back then. Here’s one of them.
When I finally came to terms with the fact that I would make some bucks if the clicks came from different computers, guess what I did?
I’ll tell you. Because I studied Computer Science, I had access to the computer lab in my faculty building. There were so many computers!
And more computer clicks equals more money…
So, I headed down to the lab, opened up my little blog on all of those computers, and clicked the ads on my blog!
Oh, boy! Did I click!
“Click!” “Click!” “Click!” “Click!”
Sure, a few more bucks landed in my account. But it wasn’t as much as I’d expected from that much clicking. Also, Robocode wasn’t exactly a high-paying keyword.
Anyway, that was the day the Black Hat Master was born!
Just kidding.
Let me say that that was not a smart move.
In fact, I was lucky that my account wasn’t suspended. So, please don’t try this and say Bank K. inspired you! I’d deny it three times, like Peter…!
But I didn’t stop growing and learning. It wasn’t long before I found out that there are many ways to generate good money online. Properly and legally, too.
That experience was the major kickstart for my internet marketing journey.
Since then, I’ve tried many different internet marketing techniques, including Google AdSense, Affiliate Marketing, Mobile Apps, eCommerce, etc.
At that time, my goal was not to make a fortune and buy a penthouse in New York. I just wanted to make passive income from my side hustle.
I was just a student and didn’t have much money. So, I started with something that didn’t require much money. Like blogging.
Studying computer science made me realize that technology can make life easier.
I was able to write a small script that helped me build tons of websites easily and quickly.

Once I set them up, I placed Google AdSense in them. More money started coming in.
Luckily, I was smart enough to have invested my money in learning rather than parties and new shoes.
I spent a lot to learn more about internet marketing.
During my learning, I was able to discover many business models that I could use to building long-term and sustainable passive income.
I also learned how to build different business systems using automation, which would guarantee smooth and consistent operation.
Over the years, I’ve found that there are many “secrets” in Internet marketing. To be honest, they’re not secrets, but simply underutilized principles of the internet business.
For one, the power of automation is highly under appreciated.
Personally, I work much less than I did a few years ago. And yes, I make more now. That’s the beauty of internet marketing.
If you want to be a successful internet marketer, there are some business models you must know, as well as important technologies that will help you do less and earn more.
I’ll show you how to build these models in this book. I have literally poured out my heart, mind and soul into it.
This is to ensure that you don’t only understand what I’ve written, but also learn practical ways to build an internet business as a Solopreneur and make more money.
I’m ready if you are!
