Knowing What to Sell

1. T-Shirts

When I started with T-shirts, I had no idea I could make a lot

more by selling different kinds of products.

In 2016, I decided to diversify my products and include coffee mugs and other Print-on-Demand products. I didn’t stop selling T-shirts. But as time went on, it became very competitive to sell T-shirts online.

A lot of people now sell T-shirts on Amazon, Etsy, and many other marketplaces.

Sure, you can’t deny that T-shirts are one of the most lucrative products to sell online. I made tons of cash by doing it.

What I’m saying is that it is now extremely competitive. If you want to make money as a Print-on-Demand seller, you can’t afford to put all your eggs in one basket.

You have to diversify. Put your eggs in different baskets. It’s safer and less risky that way. You’ll also make more money by listing different kinds of products in your online shop.

2. Coffee Mugs

If you’re looking for a product that’s easy to find, inexpensive to buy, and potentially profitable, you might want to consider selling coffee mugs.

I call it “the humble yet so-popular coffee mug”.

If you know me, you will know that there’s nothing more important than a good cup of joe – and I’m definitely not alone!

Whether it’s a gift for a holiday like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or Christmas or an additional perk for one’s morning coffee, mugs are a huge online seller in a never-ending list of niches and categories.

On average, they sell for less than $20 including shipping. Considering that the cost of a mug is usually under $10, the potential exists to make a profit on most mugs.

However, some sell for hundreds of dollars, which makes the $10 investment to buy a mug worth the risk. Once you learn a bit about buying and selling mugs, the return on your investment will grow.

Mugs are cheap to buy as a gift or for personal use. For instance, a teenager who doesn’t have much money but wants to buy a gift for their parents can get a really cool mug.

The mug is a good choice because it’s a cheap and classic gift.

Compared to necklaces or bracelets, which are more expensive, mugs happen to be a great gift item for loved ones or co-workers. Also, people can put personalized messages on the mug. They get to tell the recipient exactly what they want to say through the mug.

How cool is that?

I think mugs are a good product to start a POD business with. Here’s why:

  • Everybody needs a mug.- People love them and continue to use them, even when they’re broken.- They’re easy to store.- They’re cheap compared to many other gift products.- Mugs can be used to send personalized messages to the recipient.

3. Shot Glasses & Tumblers

Next to coffee mugs, I think shot glasses and tumblers are profitable Print-on-Demand items. If you’re creative enough to come up with funny and captivating designs and quotes, you might be getting sales notification every minute!

Both shot glasses and tumblers are a fast-growing niche. As more and more people look for more environmentally friendly, fun solutions for drinks on the go, the opportunities for growth improve.

There are several applications for this Print-on-Demand product. You can add tumblers as an accessory to a Print- on-Demand store, create gift bundles containing wine and wine tumblers for Christmas, or add a standalone tumbler category to your homeware store.

You can also sell travel mugs and camper mugs as Print-on- Demand products.

4. Kitchenware & Homeware

With Print-on-Demand eCommerce services on the rise, the list of sellable Print-on-Demand products keeps getting more diverse by the day.

A lot of products sold are in various online stores – from bathmats to kitchen aprons to laundry bags.

Print-on-Demand ***aprons ***are a practical product that can be adapted to a wide variety of shoppers and sold in a multitude of niches. Whether you’re selling homeware, BBQ-themed merch, or kitchen accessories, this niche Print-on-Demand product is worth considering.

***Bath mats ***are also a huge-selling niche in the POD business. This homeware item is an interesting addition to any online store that has bathroom-related categories and offers plenty of creative opportunities.

Plus, by matching designs to other products such as ***shower curtains ***and bath towels, you can create seamless bundles.

Shower curtains are a fun and profitable product category to add to your online store. With the right branding and a unique perspective, you could design a whole store around Print-on-Demand shower curtains.

I know a couple of POD sellers who sell only shower curtains and they’re racking up thousands of dollars in sales every month.

One cool kitchenware item that you can add to your store is the ***cutting board, ***especially if you can offer unique designs. There are a variety of types available for Print-on-Demand dropshipping, including boards of glass and wood, with and without handles. The choice is yours.

You can also sell laundry bags, yoga mats, wall decor, cushions, blankets, floor mats, dish towels, and even table covers. The list is endless!

5. Accessories

Print-on-Demand accessories are still a relatively new category in most marketplaces. However, a lot of sellers have started listing various customized accessories in their store.

Bracelet engraving is one of the most popular POD accessory trends today. However, it’s limited to silver, gold, stainless steel and leather-strapped bracelets.

Since it’s still a fresh niche, there’s potential to make your footprint in this area or add a unique accessory to your apparel and accessory POD store.

Necklaces are another jewelry product to consider adding to your online store. These are usually engraved silver or gold and come in a variety of lengths and styles.
