How to Hire

Now you understand all the steps that need to be taken in the LHS model.

Next, you have to add people to the system.

You can do everything by yourself when you’re starting out, to save costs. But that’s not what I recommend.

To be successful in your LHS project, you need to set up a team and let them handle everything for you.

Don’t do it yourself. Believe me, you will get bored very fast if you do all the work by yourself. It’s a very boring job.

Anyone can do it – and you should hire them.

The LHS demands consistency in uploading new products, day after day. So getting a team to handle the job for you is the best way to be successful.

Let me sum it up again. This is what you have to do:

  • Pick a niche and find some quotes.
  • Create text-based designs.
  • Launch products in GearBubble
  • Upload the products to Amazon
  • Edit the product information in Amazon.

There are the five necessary steps.

We will do the niche selection ourselves. It takes less than one hour a week. You can prepare a month’s work for your VA in a few hours.

Finding quotes, creating and uploading products to GearBubble and Amazon, and editing product information can be done by one worker.

The design work can also be done by a novice graphic designer. (We need only text-based designs, remember?)

You can see that we need only two people to do all this. I have only two people on my team. They have been working with me for almost two years and have uploaded more than 60,000 products to Amazon.

These are the two people we need to find:

Product Researcher and Uploader - This person will get the selected Niche Market from you, and then find interesting quotes and send them to a Graphic Designer. Next, he or she will get the designs from the designer so he or she can create and upload the products to GearBubble and Amazon.

Graphic Designer - This person will receive the list of quotes from the first person, create the designs, then send them back to the first worker so they can create and upload the products.

From one design, my virtual assistant will create three products: a coffee mug, shot glass, and travel mug. I hire the graphic designer to create 50 designs a day, so the other person can upload 150 products a day.

I think two people on the team is enough. The first person should be get paid more than the graphic designer, because he or she needs to work really hard. It takes many hours to upload 150 products a day.

OK, how do we find these people?

I have hired many virtual assistants (VA) around the world and found that people from Philippines are very nice and easy to work with.

They are very diligent and understand English really well. The hiring cost is very cheap too, compared to people from other countries. That’s because the cost of living in the Philippines is not high.

They’re ideal virtual assistants.

You can find them on onlinejobs.ph. I found my VA from easyoutsource.com, but they are now the same company and there are more workers in onlinejobs.ph.

This website needs us to subscribe to its service. So we just subscribe for a month and cancel the subscription when we find workers. After you post a job for few days, you will get a list of workers sent to your email address.

Then you need to contact them on Skype. Tell them about the work and let them know what you want from them.

OK, let’s try his in real life. Go to onlinejobs.ph and create your account.

When you log in to your account, you will see the main dashboard, like this. Click “POST A JOB”.

Then, insert the hiring information. Here is the example template I use when I post a job:

For the Product Researcher and Uploader

Job Title: Looking for a worker to list Products on Websites (A Copy-and-Paste Job)

Job Description:

I’m looking for a diligent worker to list [30] products a day on websites. I have a step-by-step guide you can follow to list the products. The work takes around [2] hours per day.

Let’s start with this workload. If you can prove that your performance is good, I’ll give you more work and increase your salary. If you are interested in this job, add my Skype: [Skype ID]

Working Days: Monday to Friday - If you can work on the weekend, let me know.

Payment Terms: [$50/week] - payment will be sent weekly through PayPal.

*Change the number in the [ ] to your preference.

For The Graphic Designer

Job Title: Looking for a graphic designer who can create ugly designs. (A Very Easy Job)

Job Description:

I’m looking for a graphic designer who can create simple designs for me (like this: [Insert example product links]). I need [10] designs per day.

I’ll provide quotes that you can create the designs around. I have recommended software you can use to create designs like this, but if you prefer to use Photoshop, that’s fine. It’s your choice.

Let’s start with this workload first. If you can prove that your performance is good, I’ll give you more work and increase your salary. If you’re interested in this job, add my Skype: [Skype ID]

Working Days: Monday to Friday - If you can work on the weekend, let me know.

Payment Term: [$50/week] - The payment will be sent weekly through PayPal.

*Change the number in the [ ] to your preference.

You can edit the template above to suit your needs. Make sure you include the basic steps that the employees need to know in the job description; otherwise, they might not apply for the job.

Anyway, you don’t need to include everything related to Amazon or GearBubble. Make it short and simple, so the employee can apply quickly. We can discuss further details with them later, during the Skype call.

After you post a job on a website, you’ll get a list of workers sent to your email. Some people might add your Skype ID. Talk to them and let them know what you want.

Negotiate the salary they will get. You might let them do trial work, too. For example, you may give them 4 or 5 quotes and let them create designs for you. If you like their designs, then hire the designer.

Send the Workflow Process PDF I created to the person who needs to research and upload products. Let them know this is what you need from them. If they think they can do it, let them try, and hire one of them.

It may be difficult to teach them to work in the beginning, but be patient. The first few workers may leave after working for only a few days. Forget them and move on to the next worker.

The graphic designer who has worked with me for almost two years was the third person I hired for this project. My product research and uploader was the fourth.

Don’t give up when your first few employees disappear. When you find workers who can work with you for a long time and know how to work, you won’t need to do anything except find niches.

Spend time on finding the right people for your system!
