Scale Up

“Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.”

T.S. Eliot

I love football. I’m a Liverpool fan. That’s why I never work alone. Haha!

One fascinating thing about football is how much effort the teams put in to stay in the top flight. Every minor league club wants to play in the major league. Every major league club wants to win titles and dominate the world.

All their energy and money are directed towards these goals.

The same goes in the POD business.

When you’re starting, you’re in the minor leagues. You have low visibility and lower revenues. But you can’t afford to stay there if you want to build a sustainable 7-figure POD business.

It’s like trying to win the Champions League with a minor-league team. It’s impossible!

You need to scale up!

This is not another cliche. To “scale up” simply means expanding your business – hopefully to the Major League! It means taking your business to a place of high visibility, a long list of winning products, and sales notifications every second.

No doubt, the POD business is a profitable one. But you must be determined and strategic to make more from it. Don’t settle for two sales every 8 days or one every two weeks. You can achieve more in this business, as long as you’re relentless.

Scaling up starts with adding more products to your online shop for more buyers to purchase. The more products you list, the greater your chances of getting a sales notification every now and then.

Scaling up also involves listing your products in as many marketplaces as you can handle. There are no limits! Just don’t stretch yourself too thin. For now, I’m focusing on Amazon and Etsy. You can list your products on more marketplaces if you like.

Lastly, scaling up involves having an effective marketing strategy for your POD business. If buyers don’t come to you, go to them! You can do this by deploying effective marketing strategies such as paid traffic.
