After you’ve run the campaign for one day, you’ll know whether it can be scaled or not.
Recall:
[DAY 1] - [PRODUCT NAME] - [MUG] - [INTERESTS #1] - TEST - $100
If the average cost per purchase (CPP) is very low (like 60-70% of net profit), then the product is ready to scale.
If the CPP is high, like 80-90%, you might leave it one more day to see the cost is lower or not.
Then it’s time to scale.
First, we will duplicate the Multiple Facebook Interests Campaign we ran yesterday and set the daily budget to $300.
Change the word “TEST” in the campaign name to “SCALE”.
Like this:
[DAY 2] - [PRODUCT NAME] - [MUG] - [INTERESTS #1] - SCALE - $300
This way, more of the budget will spent on Ad Sets with the Multiple Facebook Interests #1. Some Ad Sets that might have had a lower budget allocated yesterday will have a chance to spend more today. This will let us find more winning Facebook Interests to scale.
Then, we’ll check which Ad Sets can make more than 1 sale with a low cost per purchase.
Duplicate it to the new campaign and duplicate it again to four more ad sets. You’ll have five ad sets in total.
Like this:
[DAY 2] - [PRODUCT NAME] - [MUG] - [FACEBOOK INTEREST] - TEST - $100
Ad Set [FACEBOOK INTEREST]
Ad Set [FACEBOOK INTEREST]
Ad Set [FACEBOOK INTEREST]
Ad Set [FACEBOOK INTEREST]
Ad Set [FACEBOOK INTEREST]
I call this campaign the Single Facebook Interest Campaign.
These Ad Sets have exactly the same settings. Set the daily budget to $100.
If you have more than 1 winning ad set from the campaign you ran yesterday, do the same thing for the other winning ad sets.
This way, your campaigns will contain only good ad sets.
If any winning ad set doesn’t perform well, it will be paused automatically by the automated rules and its budget will be rotated to other winning ad sets.
Winning Facebook Interests are rarely paused this way.
Next, we have to expand our audience pool.
This is VERY IMPORTANT.
Don’t scale with just a few Facebook Interests.
Create a new campaign and use a new set of Facebook Interests to create ad sets.
The campaign structure is the same:
- 1 Campaign ($100 Budget)
- 5 Ad Sets
- 5 Facebook Interests (Similar Size)
Name it something like:
[DAY 2] - [PRODUCT NAME] - [MUG] - [INTERESTS #2] - TEST - $100
Your daily budget should be 3-4 times that of yesterday’s budget.
OK, that’s all for Day Two.
